Armenia coach: we've arrived in Slovakia with victory on our minds

Armenian team coach Vardan Minasyan commented on Armenia's crushing 4:0 victory in UEFA EURO 2012 Group B qualifier against hosting Slovakia.

“We've arrived in Zilina with only a victory on our minds. Still, I couldn't even imagine such an outcome to the game. Slovakia has wonderful defence tactics and well-organized strategy. Armenian squad showed an excellent game, I'm very proud of them,” futbalsfz.sk Slovak Football Association official website quoted him as saying.

According to Armenia coach, the team retains a chance to make it to UEFA EURO 2012 play-offs. “Next, we plan to work out a strategy for the oncoming Yerevan-hosted game against Macedonia due October 7,” Minasyan said.

With two more games to play, Slovakia is fourth in Group B with 14 points. Armenia is third, also on 14 and three behind leader Russia. Ireland is second on 15 points.
