In 2011, Yerevan Brandy Company plans to purchase 21 thousand tons of grapes from partner farms, according to Company CEO.

As Ara Grigoryan told a news conference in Yerevan, despite lower purchase volume as compared to 2010, the purchase exceeds the necessary amount by 15 thousand tons due to Company's brandy alcohol reserves.

“Even with current purchase volumes, Yerevan Brandy Company’s share makes up 30% of total grape purchase in Armenia. The Company works with 2,9 thousand farmers on contractual basis,” Grigoryan said.
