Commandos: Karabakh conflict caused split between 3 Armenian Presidents

The split between three Armenian presidents - Levon Ter-Petrossian, Robert Kocharian and Serzh Sargsyan, - was caused by the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, according to Karabakh war veteran, major general Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan (Commandos).

As Ter-Tadevosyan told a news conference in Yerevan, all three presidents were involved in Armenian National Movement (ANM), thus having a similar work platform. “The split could have been avoided, were it not for Ter-Petrossian's agreeing to the idea of Karabakh as a part of Azerbaijan,” he noted.

“Were a stipulation for the Nagorno Karabakh Republic independence included in ceasefire agreement, the presidents would have no disagreements at this point,” Commander concluded.
