The Armenian national football team has moved from the 113-rd place to the 105-th in the FIFA rating. Such "ascension" in the International Football Federation rating, as reported by "Arminfo" agency, is attributed to the success of the Armenian football players in the elimination match of the European Championship against the North Ireland, which finished, as it is known, 1:0 in favor of Armenia. Out of the states of the former Soviet Union the teams of Russia (24-th place) and Ukraine (44-th place) precede it in the FIFA rating. As before, the list is headed by the fivefold champion of world championships - the Brazilians. The teams of Spain, France, Germany, Holland, Argentina, England, Turkey, Mexico and US are among the top ten.
