Yerevan’s House of Moscow hosted an official opening of Popok International Advertising Festival.

The event was opened with a concert, followed by a dance show, with the festival director Armen Martirosyan and Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan delivering opening speeches.

Popular radio and TV presenter Gor Grigoryan hosted the opening ceremony.

Popok 2011 to be held October 27 though 29 will host advertising and information sector experts from 25 European and Asian countries.

The festival will feature the following nominations: graphic design, print & outdoor, digital & new media, marketing campaign, ad clip, radio.

The festival budget totals AMD 20 mln, with festival jury chaired by Franco Moretti, Group Chief Creative Director of Leo Burnett famous Italian advertising agency.
