Renewed war in Karabakh will be disastrous to all parties involved, with Russia, in an attempt to bring its imperialistic ideas into fruition, as the only side to benefit, according to Research Professor of National Security Affairs at U.S. Army War College Strategic Studies Institute.
In his resent analytical report on Karabakh conflict, Stephen Blank showed no surprise for recent failures in peaceful settlement attempts.
“However, based on recent developments in the Caucasus, one may infer that if no progress is reported in mediatory mission, the result of negotiations might be all the more unexpected,” the expert concludes.
