14.07.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The European Bank of Reconstruction and Development intends to continue cooperation with Armenia. As was reported to MEDIAMAX in the press office of the president of Armenia, the head of the EBRD Yerevan office, Alkis Drakinos informed this today at the meeting with the president of Armenia Robert Kocharian.
According to Drakinos, EBRD has already confirmed a number of programs on cooperation with Armenia, in particular, in the field of power engineering, bank sphere and agriculture.
Robert Kocharian, welcoming the participation of EBRD in the economic life of Armenia, noted the importance of the realization of investments in the private sector.-0-
