European U23 Judo Championships are ongoing in Tyumen, Russia, with 314 judokas from 37 countries participating.

Armenia’s Gor Harutyunyan (60kg) scored two wins out of 4 clashes at Championships to gain the 7th place.

Armenia’s Grigor Ivanyan, Artur Yeranosyan and Gevorg Torosyan dropped out of the Championships, with Adranik Chaparyan, Surik Garnikyan (73kg) and Artem Baghdasaryan (81kg) left to perform.

Armenia squad is coached by Tigran Babayan and Artur Gevorgyan. David Khitaryan is a referee at the tournament.
