Sovsport.ru website has removed the name of Russia’s Krasnodar FC striker Yura Movsisyan from the list of contenders for the title of Russia’s best football player of 2011.

Movsisyan’s, who topped the list as result of the online voting, was withdrawn without explanation. Displeased fans sent a letter of complaint to the editorial staff of the website.

Armenia national team player scored 8 goals in 27 games of Russian championship and is 11th in the list of the Krasnodar FC top scorers. He is also the most effective player of Krasnodar in the history of the club with 0.296 goals per game.
