NEW GEORGIAN PARLIAMENTARIANS TESTED IN NARCOTIC DEPENDENCE
After the CEC announced the parliamentary elections' outcomes, about 80 elected deputies of the Georgian parliament of the new convocation passed a test in drug taking. The decision to administer the test was taken by the parliamentarians of the previous convocation. There were also opposition deputies among those who underwent the medical test. As Revaz Mishveladze, the deputy of the "Union of Democratic Renaissance" party headed by Adzharian leader Aslan Abashidze stated, "all the parliamentarians are urged to pass a psychological test as well", Interfax reports.
