“Civil servants’ party membership should be legally banned,” Mr. Badalyan stated, noting that priority in civil service system will be given to knowledge and not party badges.

Dwelling on the accomplishments the Civil Service reached for the past years, Badalyan noted development of the laws that each job applicant should consider.

“10 years is rather a short term to yield tangible results due to its linkage to people’s mentality and psychology,” the official said, adding that there is still much to achieve in civil service system.
