NAGORNO KARABAKH ISSUE SHOULD NOT BE DISREGARDED, FIRST DEPUTY FOREIGN MINISTER OF RUSSIA CONSIDERS
The Nagorno Karabakh problem is "acute, complex and very large," said first deputy foreign minister of Russia, co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Conference Vyacheslav Trubnikov, "Mediamax" agency reported. "The issue should not be disregarded," - he told journalists after meeting with OSCE chairman-in-office, foreign minister of Netherlands Jaap de Hoop Scheffer in Hague. V. Trubnikov welcomed the intention of the OSCE chairman-in-office to visit the Nagorno Karabakh conflict region. "We tried to call de Hoop Scheffer's attention to the Karabakh issue and I think we have succeeded," the Russian diplomat said.
