Prosperous Armenia coalition party was deprived of the opportunity to join the opposition right from its establishment, according to Armenian political analyst.
In this context, Karen Kocharyan excluded cooperation between Prosperous Armenia and Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc, noting the possibility for Prosperous Armenia to maintain neutrality in rivalry between the Congress and Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).
The expert conditioned Prosperous Armenian’s recent moves, as well as the conflict with RPA by the party’s aspiration to become a political force.
For his part, expert on political and electoral technologies Armen Badalyan noted the Prosperous Armenia party’s potential to double the number of its seats in future parliament, as well as advance its positions up to assuming the post of the Prime Minister.
