GEORGIAN CUSTOMS OFFICIALS BLEW UP BOUNDARY WITH ARMENIA ROADS TO PREVENT CONTRABAND CARGO TRANSPORTATION
The officers of the Georgian department for struggle against crime have blown up a number of sectors of the boundary country-tracks leading from Armenia to the Georgian village of Sadakhlo, where a large fair is located. Such measures were undertaken in view that the lowering of Debed river separating Georgia and Armenia allowed the vehicles with contraband loads to cross the frontier avoiding the customs control situated on Tbilisi-Yerevan main highway, "REGNUM" IA reports.
