Russia and Nicaragua signed an agreement to combat drug trafficking, RIA Novosti reported, citing Nuevo Diario newspaper.
The agreement was signed by Nicaraguan police chief Aminta Granera and the head of Russia’s Federal Drug Control Service, Viktor Ivanov, who is currently on a tour of Latin America.
The sides agreed to swap information, conduct joint operations against drug trafficking and establish a drug enforcement training center in the Nicaraguan capital Managua.
