YURI LUZHKOV SUGGESTED ARMENIAN BUSINESSMEN BUILD WHOLESALE TRADE CENTER IN MOSCOW
Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov has suggested Armenian businessmen to build a wholesale trade center in the Russian capital. Addressing the Moscow-Yerevan business forum yesterday, he noted that the turnover of such centers surprises partners. As reported by Novosti Russian agency, the Mayor cited the instance of the work experience of Metro Cash and Carry company, which after having built one such center, then planned the building of another eight. "We suggest that Armenia build its own center. If you wish, let us build it together," Luzhkov said. He also said he was ready to support promotion of retail trade with participation of Armenian businessmen. According to the data he possesses, today there are some 500 Armenian-Russian joint ventures in Moscow.
