Artsakh From Air
Artsakh Republic is located in the northeastern part the Armenian Highland. The capital city is Stepanakert, and the historical center is Shushi. About 35% of the total land area is covered by forests. There are many historical and architectural monuments in Artsakh, the most famous of which are Amaras, Gandzasar, Dadivank and Ghazanchetsots Cathedral of Shushi. Besides, there are hundreds of medieval khachkars (cross-stone), castles and bridges, many of which are masterpieces of Armenian architecture. PAN Photo has been on a helicopter for a few hours to shoot Arstakh from above.
