Republic Party leader Aram Sargsyan has voiced support for the presidential system of government, Aravot daily reported.

Sargsyan didn’t rule out the possibility of President Serzh Sargsyan to pledge to put on vote the proposals issued during the ongoing political consultations, considering the common ground between the Prosperous Armenia and the ruling Republican Party of Armenia.

“This will serve ground for Prosperous Armenia to announce decision on backing President Serzh Sargsyan. This will also benefit ARF Dashnaktsutyun,” the paper quoted Sargsyan as saying.
