Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with the personal representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk on Saturday, September 5.

Issues concerning the recent situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and at contact line between Nagorno Karabakh Republic and Azerbaijan were on the agenda, the President’s website reports.

Both sides expressed concerns over the recent ceasefire violations at the contact line.

Sargsyan hailed the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs’ reaching a consensus on a mechanism for investigating the border and frontline incidents, stressing that the mechanism will help avoid further losses.

The parties also exchanged ideas on Shant-2015 military exercise and its objectives.
