France's Socialist Party MPs visited the Nagorno Karabakh Republic defense army bases, the NKR Defense Ministry press office reports.

The French parliamentarians asked about the frequency of ceasefire violations at the frontline, examined the soldiers’ social and living conditions and the characteristics of frontline combat duty.

The situation was tense on Armenian-Azerbaijani border and at contact line between NKR and Azerbaijan. 1000 ceasefire violations by Azeri armed forces were registered in the reporting period, with around 14,000 shots fired from various caliber weapons, including 60-, 82- and 120mm mortars, RPG-7 and HAN-17 grenade launchers.
