Three Karabakh soldiers wounded in Azerbaijan’s ceasefire violation

Three Karabakh soldiers were wounded in Azerbaijan’s violation of the verbal agreement on ceasefire overnight on April 27. The condition of one of them is assessed as critical, Head of Medical Department of Armenia’s Defense Ministry Kamavor Khachatryan said, according to Artsakhpress.

Khachatryan said the soldier’s pelvis has been broken.

“A major surgery will be required, but his live is out of danger,” he said.

The condition of the other two servicemen is assessed as satisfactory: one of them got a concussion, while the other received a pulmonary shrapnel injury,” Khachatryan said.

Azerbaijan’s artillery shelling of Nagorno Karabakh positions that began on April 26, continued overnight on April 27.

The Azerbaijani side fired 550 shells towards the Karabakh positions and civilian settlements using almost every type of artillery assets it possesses, including mortars, cannons, as well as MM-21 (Grad) multiple rocket launchers.

In the course of the rival’s aggressive actions, a Karabakh soldier, Hayk Minasyan (b. 1996) was lethally wounded.
