EU always paid attention to South Caucasian region
Germany's presidency in the EU will work for improvement of the Armenian-German relations, RA Ambassador to Germany Karine Ghazinyan told a news conference in Yerevan. In her words, the EU has always paid a special attention to the South Caucasus. "Now this tendency has deepened because Germany attaches importance to relations with minor states," Ghazinyan said.
"In this view, visit of German Foreign Frank-Walter Steinmeier is important. Germany would like to see the South Caucasus as a unified geopolitical unit and eyes the future of the region in peaceful cooperation of the states, said the RA Ambassador to Germany.
