Ex-World Boxing Champion and former candidate to RA NA stopped hunger strike
Ex-Boxing World Champion, former candidate to the RA NA Israel Hakobkokhyan stopped the untimely hunger strike, which ha had launched on May 16 near the Central Electoral Commission of Armenia. He demanded to annul the voting results of the 11th constituency, where he was running for parliamentarian mandate on majority system. The Ex-World Boxing Champion said his decision is conditioned with the visit of Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan on May 21. The Premier personally met the former candidate and asked to stop the hunger strike, assuring him that if any questions exist he will discuss them in some days.

"I am grateful to the Prime Minister that he found a minute and visited me," Hakobkokhyan underlined, adding that he "is a law-abiding citizen and a man who respects officials" and that's why he realized Prime Minister's request. Israel Hakobkokhyan among his demands also asked a meeting with the Premier of Armenia. "I was told that Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan is behind all violations of the May 12 Parliamentarian elections, and that's why I want him to meet and as a gentleman assure me that he is being slandered," he stated earlier, IA Regnum reports.
