Parliament approves Armenia state budget for 2017

The National Assembly on Thursday, December 8 voted 83-34 to approve Armenia's state budget for 2017, with only one abstention.

Prior to the vote, several opposition MPs called for boycotting the government-proposed document and blocking it.

Others reminded that government representatives didn't even bother to come to the discussions at the parliament.

Lawmakers from Orinats Yerkir party said the budget provides for no progress in the field of education or health.
