Minor earthquake hits Armenia’s north

A magnitude 2.7 earthquake hit the northern parts of Armenia at around 8 pm on Tuesday, December 25.

The tremor was registered 10 km south-east of the village of Ashotsk.

In the epicenter, the quake was about 10 kilometers deep and was measured 3-4 on the MSK scale.

The quake shook the villages of Ashotsk and Bavra.
