President might have appointed new members instead of dissolving the group
"Everything seems all right with the interim parliamentary committee investigating March 1, 2008 incidents," New Times party leader Aram Karapetyan told today a news conference.

By dissolving the fact-finding group and spreading rumors to declare amnesty, authorities aim to put an end to the March 1 case, the speaker is convinced. "Parliamentary committee does not do anything. It just pretends studying documents and video records submitted to the fact-finding group," he stated.

Karapetyan is sure that fact-finding group worked quite actively, and was close to revealing the truth. Instead of dissolving the group, President might have issued decree on replacing one of its members or appointed a new staff, the activist finds.
