Nintendo 3DS game system nearly sold out in Japan

Nintendo 3DS game system nearly sold out its first batch of shipments to retail outlets in the first two days. Nintendo said it had shipped out 400,000 3DS units to Japanese retailers ahead of the launch, according to The Wall Street Journal Blog.

The Nintendo 3DS feature is to create the illusion of 3-D games without requiring special glasses. It has 2 screen: diagonal of the first screen is 3,53 inch and the second is 3,02 inch. Nintendo 3DS has one internal and two external cams which help to shoot 3D images.

Nintendo hopes to sell half million 3DS by the end of March. The 3DS goes on sale in Europe March 25 and in the U.S. on March 27.
