ARF Dashnaktsutyun welcomes the dialogue between the authorities and opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC), the head of ARFD parliamentary group stated.

As Vahan Hovhannisyan told a news conference in Yerevan, the results of the dialogue “are already perceptible, with the authorities and ANC having orchestrated a joint attack on Dashnaktsutyun.” “ANC leader, Levon Ter-Petrossian, however, tends to exaggerate our concern over the dialogue established,” Hovhannisyan noted.

Hovhannisyan, nevertheless, noted positive aspects to the oncoming political talks. “Finally, Armenia will see a political struggle. Over a long time, the government has been the only political opponent of Dashnaktsutyun,” he said.
