Natural ingredients is the main secret behind the peculiar taste of Armenian dishes, according to the chairman of Preservation and Development of Armenian Culinary Traditions NGO.

At news conference in Yerevan, Sedrak Mamulyan spoke about the specifics of the Armenian cuisine and their seasonal nature. As Mr. Mamulyan noted, presenting national cuisine is one of the ways of describing the country and its national identity.

He further stressed the necessity of creation of national cuisine encyclopaedia featuring ancient Armenian food preparation rites.
