On June 28, Armenian Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan met with NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai in Yerevan.

At the meeting, the parties gave high assessment to Armenia-NATO cooperation development, in peacemaking, military education, training and defence sector reforms.

Ohanyan congratulated Appathurai on his recent appointment, expressing hope for him to contribute to Armenia-NATO cooperation development, Defence Ministry press service reported.
