PACE starts supporting common interests, rather than common ideas - official

Armenian delegation suggested the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) amend regulations introducing mechanisms to reveal the clash of interests within the organization, the head of Armenian delegation to PACE said.

As Davit Harutyunyan told journalists, “we have a feeling PACE is turning into an institution supporting common interests, rather than common ideas.”

Commenting on the possibility of dissolution of PACE subcommittee on Nagorno Karabakh after Mevlut Cavusoglu completes his mission as the Assembly president, Harutyunyan said, “it will all depend on political situation at PACE.”
