Armenia-EU cooperation new plurilateral format to be introduced in 2009

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia-European Union cooperation new plurilateral format will be introduced in 2009, according to an Armenian parliamentarian.



Parliamentary conference on the "European Neighborhood Policy East" was held lately with participation of Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Ukraine and Belarusian opposition.



"The initiative is promising. An EU-East parliamentary assembly will be formed in 2009, providing a possibility to cooperate with the EU within the EU Parliamentary Assembly and to develop partnership with neighbor states," said Avet Adonts, chairman of the parliamentary commission for integration to European structures, Novosti Armenia.
