Armenia to tender facts of Azerbaijan's war crimes to partners

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Prosecutor General's Office will introduce facts proving Azerbaijan's war crimes against Armenian prisoners of war and civilians to fellow prosecutor's offices around the world.

Azeri troops, in particular, have been filmed grossly violating the norms of international humanitarian law, beheading, executing, torturing, making fun of Armenian captives and cutting their ears off.

The prosecutor's office said it is taking steps to prosecute all those who committed crimes against injured prisoners of war and, in some cases, civilians, and to provide additional guarantees for the protection of the rights of victims.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian and Azerbaijani Presidents Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev on November 9 signed a statement to end the war in Karabakh after almost 45 days. Under the deal, the Armenian side is returning all the seven regions surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh, having lost a part of Karabakh itself in hostilities.
