Opposition thinks that decision not to build Aznavour house museum will save Armenia from crisis?

PanARMENIAN.Net - The election of Mayor of Yerevan is good opportunity to prove that it was Levon Ter-Petrosyan who won the presidential election in February 2008, an opposition member said.

"The authorities stand no chance to cope the economic crisis. Under the circumstances, they can nothing but resign," said Vahagn Khachatryan, former Mayor of Yerevan.

Asked by a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, what kind of measures the opposition intends to take to overcome the crisis, he said that they have developed a crisis relief action plan.

"First, it's reduction of shadow economy. Second, it's reduction of unnecessary budget expenditures. Do we really need construction of Charles Aznavour's House Museum or extra transport expenses?" Khachatryan said.
