Armenian Foreign Minister, OSCE envoy talk Karabakh blockade![]() February 14, 2023 - 11:10 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On February 13, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan met with Andrzej Kasprzyk, the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, in Yerevan. During the meeting, issues on regional security and stability were discussed. The interlocutors touched upon the normalization process of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, developments on the draft peace treaty. The situation in Nagorno-Karabakh resulting from the blockade of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan was also discussed. Since December 12, the sole road connecting Nagorno Karabakh to Armenia - the Lachin Corridor - has been blocked by self-described Azerbaijani environmentalists. Karabakh residents have reported food and fuel shortages, while hospital patients don't have access to essential medicines, with only a handful allowed transfer to facilities in Armenia proper. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
