  Armenia sends second batch of humanitarian aid to Turkey February 15, 2023 - 14:55 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia has sent the second batch of humanitarian aid to Turkey, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Vahan Hunanyan said Wednesday, February 15. “Armenia continues sending humanitarian aid to earthquake-affected regions,” Hunanyan tweeted. “Late last night, trucks loaded with the second batch of humanitarian aid crossed the Armenian-Turkish border through the Margara bridge.” The land border between Armenia and Turkey has been closed since April 1993. However, in July 2022 the Turkish Ministry for Foreign Affairs announced that the two countries plan to reopen the border "at the earliest possible date", albeit only for third party nationals. The death toll from the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria has surpassed 40000.
