Armenia ready to assist Slovenia as CoE chairing stateMay 13, 2009 - 16:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - During his visit to Madrid, FM Edward Nalbandyan met with Slovenian Foreign Minister Samuel Zabogari. Mr. Nalbandyan congratulated his Slovenian colleague on his country's becoming a CoE chairing state. The two diplomats discussed a range of issues on strengthening bilateral ties, developing contractual-legal relations etc. They also touched upon issues concerning Eastern Partnership initiative.RA FM also met with his Lithuanian colleague Vitautas Ushatskas. During the meeting, parties discussed ways for further extension of Armenian-Lithuanian ties. The two Foreign Ministers exchanged views on global financial crisis and ways for mitigating its impact. At the request of the Lithuanian FM, Mr. Nalbandyan also touched upon Armenian-Turkish ties normalization process and recent developments in Karabakh settlement talks, RA Foreign Ministry Press Service reports.
