In his COP29 speech, Aliyev complained about Western "fake news media" and bragged about the ethnic cleansing of Artsakh. "'Restoring' Azerbaijani sovereignty over an ancient indigenous Armenian territory through genocide is NOT justice under international law. It’s not even LEGAL under international law,"the Lemkin Institute posted on X. "Azerbaijan did not act alone—without Israeli military aid and the complicity and blessing of the US State Department, this would not have been possible. To those still sitting at COP29, shame on you for your silence,"the organization added. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
