Director Sean Baker received the Best Director award, presented by Quentin Tarantino. In his acceptance speech, Baker remarked, "Quentin, if you hadn't cast Mikey in 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,' 'Anora' wouldn't exist." Mikey Madison was honored as Best Actress. The film also won awards for Best Editing and Best Original Screenplay. Competing for Best Picture, 'Anora' faced contenders such as 'The Brutalist,' 'Complete Unknown,' 'Conclave,' 'Dune: Part Two,' 'Emilia Perez,' 'I'm Still Here,' 'Nickel Boys,' 'Substance,' and 'The Evil.' Adrien Brody was named Best Actor for his role in 'The Brutalist.'
