Armenia expands diplomacy with three more countries![]() December 24, 2025 - 16:14 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - In 2025, Armenia continued expanding its diplomatic presence by establishing relations with three more countries, the Foreign Ministry said. On May 14, diplomatic relations were established with Solomon Islands; on August 31, with Pakistan; and on November 12, with Lesotho. Armenia currently maintains diplomatic relations with 186 countries. In May 2025, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif stated in Lachin that, allegedly, “Azerbaijan had been attacked by Armenia” and that “Turkey and Pakistan stood by Azerbaijan like a mountain.” Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
