Armenia, Estonia discuss trade cooperation

Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan met with Margе Mardisalu-Kahar, Estonia's Ambassador to Armenia, and a delegation from the Estonian Centre for International Development (ESTDEV) to discuss expanding cooperation between Armenia and Estonia in the fields of public administration, digitalization and international trade.

The deputy prime minister expressed satisfaction with the mutually beneficial cooperation established between the two countries and welcomed the further deepening of bilateral business ties.

Russia has imposed restrictions on imports of several Armenian products. The measures include bans on imports of Jermuk mineral water, flowers and certain alcoholic beverages from Armenia. Restrictions have also been introduced on a number of agricultural products, including tomatoes, cucumbers and strawberries. Since June 2, Russia has also restricted the import and transit through the Eurasian Economic Union of cherries, apricots, peaches, plums, grapes and other stone fruits from Armenia. Since June 3, Russia has additionally restricted imports of eggplants, potatoes and dried fruits originating from and exported by Armenia.
