Prescott and Fischer also met with the working group on drafting amendments to the RA Electoral Code. Head of the group David Harutyunyan said that the bill on introduction of amendments to the code has been drafted and sent for the Venice Commission's conclusion. Besides, it has been put into circulation in the Armenian parliament. Prescott noted for his part that in democratic processes opposition's role is as much important as the authorities' role. Both of them should facilitate the country's democratization, Prescott concluded.
