37 381 carats of diamond produced in Armenia Jan-July 2011

PanARMENIAN.Net - 37 381 carats of diamond were produced in Armenia in January-July 2011 against 41 470 carats during the same period in 2010.

According to the National Statistical Service, 183,4kg of jewelry was produced during the reporting period against 240,6 kg in 2010. The slump in the industry made up 23,8% compared to January-July 2010.
