National Assembly’s fifth convocation more accurately reflects the balance of political forces in, Chairman of Christian Democratic Union and member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) said.

Khosrov Harutyunyan noted that many MPs with vast political experience representing both authorities and opposition have entered the new parliament.

The party head voiced hope for the MPs to have active involvement in the legislative work, organize “political show” in the parliament and justify voters’ hopes.

Mr. Harutyunyan further refuted rumors about the disagreement between representatives of other political forces having entered the National Assembly by RPA candidates list and Republican MPs.
