European integration is a priority for Armenia’s foreign policy, co-chair of Armenia-EU parliamentary cooperation committee said.
“Armenia is actively involved in cooperation programs with the European Union,” Samvel Farmanyan said during a discussion on November 19.
He further deemed 2012 remarkable for Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement talks, with tangible progress recorded in negotiations on Armenia-EU Association Agreement, as well as Yerevan-Brussels bilateral visits and expansion of political dialogue.
Mr. Farmanyan stressed the importance of Euronest Parliamentary Assembly in deepening of ties with the EU.
