Freight and passenger transportation increased across the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) during January–May 2026 compared with the same period last year, Sputnik Kazakhstan reported.

Freight transport in Armenia rose by 12.6%, while growth reached 3.4% in Kyrgyzstan and 1.1% in Belarus.

During the same period, total passenger turnover across the EAEU increased by 0.8%. Passenger transport grew by 7.8% in Belarus, 6.1% in Armenia, 4.1% in Kazakhstan and 3.9% in Kyrgyzstan.
