Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to participants of the 4th congress of the Union of Armenians of Russia (UAR) and noted that the organization’s role in the development of friendly Russian-Armenian relations deserves the sincerest acknowledgement.
“Over 10 years of active and fruitful activity, the UAR has become an authoritative and demanded public organization uniting over 2.5 million of Armenians of Russia,” the Russian Prime Minister's message reads.
Mr. Putin also stressed the contribution of the UAR in boosting the close trade, economic, cultural and scientific ties between the two countries. He expressed belief that “good traditions and mission of the Union will allow it to dynamically develop in future,” the Russian governmental press service reported.
