Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan sent a message to the leader of Transnistrian Moldovan Republic (TMR), Igor Smirnov, to congratulate him on the 21st anniversary of TMR independence.

“On behalf of people, authorities of the Nagorno Karabagh Republic and myself I cordially congratulate you and the fraternal people of the Transnistrian Moldovan Republic on the 21st anniversary of independence,” President Sahakyan said.

“During these years the people and authorities of Transnistria have resolved crucial problems of state building, defended freedom and independence of the country, laid the foundation for a dynamic economic development and embarked irreversibly on the path of international recognition. Artsakh is sincerely glad to see your success,” he said, reported the Central Information Department of the Office of the Artsakh Republic President.
