Levon Aronian, Magnus Carlsen tie 7th round game at Chess Masters Final

On October 7, grandmaster Levon Aronian tied the 7th round game with Norway’s Magnus Carlsen at Bilbao Chess Masters Final.The tournament leader Vasili Ivanchuk of Ukraine lost to Spain’s Francisco Vallejo; India’ Viswanathan Anand and Hikaru Nakamura of U.S. ended the game in a tie.

Aronian retains 3rd position with 3 points, Ivanchuk stays in the lead with 13 points, followed by Nakamura with 8 points.

In the 8th round, Aronian, Ivanchuk and Karsen will face off against Nakamura, Anand and Vallejo resp.
